Rather, you should stick to a basic size, and if you do want different sized plantings, you need to remember to balance them out properly.

Finally, texture is in regards to the texture of the plants and other design elements that you choose for your garden; you do not have to stick to only a single type of texture or boring textures, but again you need to remember the issue of balance. Also, try to choose textures that coordinate well with the specific parts of the garden design, so that in the end everything will work and flow together well.
